....and into my greasy mitts. This is the fifth cover I've contributed to the magazine and might just be my favourite.
For the uninitiated, RealScreen is a trade magazine focusing on the documentary and reality TV industries. They have a yearly profile on the top companies/trends in the industry and I get the call to provide the cover featuring the "mascot" lovingly dubbed "Globie" by the editors. Since cake shows are all the rage on TV and this being the fifth anniversary of the issue, we went with a celebratory theme....

Done for a recent posting on Torontoist about two separate convention companies dueling for supremacy in the Toronto area. "Wolverine" representing Wizard World, which is having it's first con on this coming weekend and "Superman" representing the Hobbystar group, which has had a bit of a stranglehold on things for the better part of a decade. What can I say, superheroes, or those who dress up like them, just too fun to draw.
